Make a Rustic Flag Tray
It used to be an old rustic tray with a great shape from my favorite Goodwill store.
and for once I didn't want to paint it white. I decided instead to paint a flag motif on it for the 4th of July.
This project involves no fancy paint or stencils. I began by taping-off the areas I was going to paint white with painter's tape.
Happy 4th of July!

and for once I didn't want to paint it white. I decided instead to paint a flag motif on it for the 4th of July.
This project involves no fancy paint or stencils. I began by taping-off the areas I was going to paint white with painter's tape.
I painted in the red and blue areas, removed the tape, then painted in the white stripes and added a star.
I gave the tray a coat of spray sealer and it's ready for a party! It was as easy as that!
Happy 4th of July!
