Update a Lamp to Fancy Tassel

Today I'm turning the lamp into a fancy tassel!




 This is still not the last project I make from the old lamp that I found by the side of the road.


By this time I am almost completely out of parts.

I do however have this little cup leftover.


 I flipped it over and painted it bright green.


I found a great little package of ribbon at Michael's that had all the ribbon I needed for this project.



I tied a piece of decorative cord around the bundle of ribbons.


and pulled it through the green cup. 

I added some decorative fringe and made a beautiful tassel.




It's hanging with my rusties but it would look great
on the Christmas tree!
