Today I'm making good use of the parts from  a very unusual old trunk I found on the side of the road.

Not too long ago I ran across a set of 12 of these industrial stand clips. 

I found the cutest thing in a boutique recently and I just have to share.

This chain with clips was being sold with tiny bottles hanging on it for Halloween... 
It sure got my wheels turning. 
First of all how EASY would this be to make! 
I could make a million of them!

It's another day and once again I pulled a U turn in the middle of the road on my way to work.

Being a grandmother for the first time this summer gave me a new appreciation for baby clothes.
As the mother of four girls, I was especially excited about buying baby boy clothes for the first time. 
In a bag of hand-me-down baby clothes I was surprised to find a few pairs of vintage baby socks.

The socks had such a beautiful vintage texture and color.

How to make a chalkboard from an old drawer. 

When I found about 100 metal spring photo holders at a garage sale I knew someday they'd be something great.

A rusty vintage grater with a great wooden handle.

I love green chalkboard, it's so vintage...

Today I'm combining my love of chalkboards with my love of Christmas!

I cut a green chalkboardinto 1" strips then cut them into lengths that would create a triangle or Christmas tree shape.

I hot glued the chalkboard strips to a stained paint stick.
Then added a rusty star to the top and a length of jutefor a hanger.




And the best part is that you can write on the chalkboard strips! I used an erasable chalk marker.
