Hanging Mason Jar Vase
Today I painted a small Mason jar
and created a fun hanging vase with a flower frog top...
In case you don't already know...chalky paint sticks to almost everything including glass!
Using a plumber's hose clamp, I attached the jar to a piece of reclaimed wood.
The wood has great imbedded pieces of rusty metal in it.
I added the handle from an old tool as a hook.
I used a piece of hardware cloth cut to fit the inside of the Mason jar ring makes a great flower frog.
The jar can hang on the wall now to hold fresh (or fake) flowers and the jar is removable for cleaning with just the turn of a screw.
