Vintage Spindle Tote
I love making wooden totes. I use wooden totes
of all kinds all over my house for storage.
This interesting chippy spindle handle make a great tote!
This one can be used in the kitchen for fruit or to hold cutting boards on the countertop.
Making this box was easy!
I created a box using reclaimed boards, added a masonite bottom and an old chippy spindle to the top for the handle.
I painted the whole box white and added a chalkboard label to the front.
The handle was coated with Americana Dura Clear varnish to keep any more paint from chipping off. (affiliate link)
This crate is large enough for a ton of fruit and looks beautiful on a long farmhouse table.
It now sits on the farm table of a very good friend!
