Dollar Store Christmas Tree Up-Cycle

A great tree and a beautiful urn was my thrift store treasure today.

The little tree was inexpensive but a pretty one.

They can be found in any thrift store or dollar store.

The trunk of this one was wrapped in a vintage plaid fabric.

I removed the fabric only to find a wooden stump as the base.

I loved the simpleness of the wooden base but I had other plans for this tree.

While I was thrift store shopping I bought an inexpensive white urn.

I put a little hot glue on the base of the tree and and stuck it into the urn.

I used Spanish moss to cover the base of the tree.

The inexpensive dollar store tree took on a whole new beautiful life for Christmas this year!

And the whole project cost about $3.00.
