Globe Gift Card Holder
My new little Grandson was Christened
recently and I made him a
special little gift card globe.
I made this globe similar to
A package of small bathtub toys, a jar, and some fishing line
were all the supplies I needed to create this fun little gift globe.
I began by gluing the turtle to the inside of the jar lid....
I added sand and a few sea shells too.
With a serrated knife I cut a slit into the shell
of the turtle to hold the gift card.
Fishing line is used to hang the dolphin from the bottom (top) of the jar with a little clear tape. I attached the jar to the lid then wiggled the jar until the dolphin was hanging over the gift card.
A big bow is tied around the base of the globe
and it was a work of art.
The jar can be easily opened to remove the gift card
and the bathtub toys can be re-used too!
