Memorial Day Flag Pillows
At the local craft fair, my flag pillows were a big hit!
Here is how I created these little lovelies...
I started with several 8" x 10" cotton flags that used to be part of a flag bunting that came apart.
You can also use those cute little flags on sticks you can buy inexpensively at the dollar store near the summer holidays.
Using a salvaged piece of cotton curtain as the backing, I sewed three sides of the flag together using a sewing machine.
I stuffed the flag with batting then hand stitched the final side closed.
These cute little flags are great for decorating shelves, filling a basket, or even as a festive accent on a chair.
A fun and inexpensive decorative craft with a great look!
