A Trip to the Country Living Fair
It was a beautiful day at the Country Living Fair yesterday...
It was an afternoon filled with sunshine and treasures... My friend Laura and I drove up to Rhinebeck for the day.
There was so much to see and buy... Inspiration was everywhere!
Here are a few of our favorites...
The dresser above had a textured paint patina that was gorgeous.
Burlap place setting silverware holders... these are pretty easy to make too!
I have a basement full of spindles... add a dish to the top and a metal stake to the end and you have a one of a kind bird feeder!
Laura loved these old seltzer bottles and I liked the old wooden sifting crates...
These olive buckets were awesome... I saw small trash cans for every room in my house.
The woman at this booth called Green Bubble Gorgeous sold natural and organic bath and body products.
She had the greatest marketing plan... she put samples of her body scrub in the public bathroom at the fair with her booth number on it... everyone that left the ladies room headed straight for her booth... Including us!
This is Laura and she was going home with this great long sweater from a booth called Stash Style. They had beautiful clothes, shoes, and accessories.
I texted my daughter this picture from the fair and told her I was bringing home this DIY high chair for my little grandson... I'm pretty sure she'd be picking splinters out of his little butt for a long time!
Truthfully he may have liked this ride-on bird a little better.
We had a great day and came home with some great gifts, a ton of DIY ideas, and a whole lot of inspiration.
And then we were ready for a little rest!
