Repurposed Craft Paint Organizer
A unique craft paint organizer that keeps my workshop organized and looks adorable...
This is the BEFORE... a treasure from the thrift store... I wasn't sure what it was going to be at first but I knew it was cool and I could use it for something.
The bright orange color was pretty but it was a little chipped up and was in need of a good paint job.
It is a large piece that stands about 3' tall and turns on a Lazy Susan...
I knew right away that I needed a chalk paint that would adhere without sanding and priming... preferably a paint that needed no sealer because painting inside all these little indentations was enough the first time around.
I used MudPaint in Manor White. The paint goes on smoothly, sticks to almost everything and is a great paint to use for my repurposed projects.
When the MudPaint was dry I was finished... I filled the turning carousel with 2 oz. craft paint bottles that fit perfectly.
I like to find unique organizers to use in my workshop... I spend a lot of time in here so I want to love everything about my every improving creative space.
The carousel spins to reveal all the paint colors needed for my craft projects.
