Distressed Chalkboard Shelf

This project was an easy DIY with a pre-made chalkboard and some scrap wood...

 The pre-made chalkboard was from Michaels... 70% off.  

I painted the board and the shelf with white paint then heavily distressed it with coarse sandpaper.

I used a product that removes the shine from the steel border and made it look older. 

I spray painted a cup pull to match the frame around the chalkboard to use as a chalk holder.

This project is simple! 

 I added a shelf to a board then used 2 screws to attach the chalkboard and the chalk holder. 

                                                               Simple and fabulous!
