Anyway... Larissa made a gorgeous rooster weather vaneand I knew the minute I saw it I needed to make one of my own. Larissa used some very cool products on her metal rooster that actually changed the copper to a patina in a few steps.... go on over and check it out!
My rooster weather vane began life with the leg of a table, a couple of chair spindles and a very rusty rooster. And truth be told I'm not sure if it is a rooster or a chicken but I'm calling it a rooster.

As you saw in my last postI used bits and pieces from things I had around the house to create a potting bench and today I will show you the finished piece.

One of my favorite things to do is to dig around in my basement and come up with things I can put together and create something new... like this beautiful potting bench.

I love the look of galvanized steel and today I'm creating  the look using paint.

The top of this gorgeous table was a mess.... old plywood that no paint was going to fix.
