DIY Repurposed Antique Door Potting Bench
Another day... another potting bench to make!
I love creating potting benches and my customers love them too. Spring is such a sunny, happy time!
After creating my first repurposed potting bench I was in the mood...
I searched the basement for pieces to make a second potting bench.
I ended up using an antique french door, a pallet I made as a table top, repurposed legs, and brackets.
I securely assembled and leveled all the pieces, added chicken wire to the open window and then painted the entire piece white.
Brass knobs and hooks are added for bling and to hold garden tools.
Right about now I began wondering if this large piece was going to make it out of my basement... Narrow stairs up to the kitchen are a problem when building anything too large in my basement.
Luckily... it fit!
If you peek through the chicken wire you will see that the weather here has not yet decided it is Spring,
This potting bench will be having it's moment in the sun in the middle of my kitchen for now.
Hopefully the sun is shining on you today!
D Lawless Hardware provided the hooks for this project.
All opinions on this product are my own.
