How to Create a Pedestal Dish from Thrift Store Finds
I always love making something beautiful from junk...
Using pieces found at the thrift store and some amazing metallic paint, I created a beautiful brushed steel pedestal dish.
I took apart an old lamp to create the perfect base for this dish...
Paired with an old wooden plate found at the thrift store.
I located the center of the wooden plate then drilled through the center into the lamp base.
Both pieces were painted with Fusion Mineral Paint in Brushed Steel.
You have got to try the Fusion Mineral Paint Metallics... I love every one of the beautiful colors!
The brushed steel is gorgeous and looks like authentic stainless steel.
I painted a circular pattern on the plate to give it an authentic brushed steel look.
It's gorgeous!
As I brought it down to storage before it went to the shop I found a glass cloche that fit perfectly on the top!
You can bet I added it to the shop with that gorgeous cloche top!
