Vertical Patriotic Flag Decoration
Ready for another easy summer project?

I painted a piece of tongue and groove paneling white spray paint then blocked off the areas I wanted red and blue with painter's tape.
I cut a star out of paper and traced it onto the board then painted blue around the star. You can also use the new star stencil from Knick of Time which will be an even quicker alternative to drawing your own.
When the paint was dry I used the electric sander to give the flag a quick once over for a distressed look.

I added rebar wire to the top of the board and I had the perfect vertical flag to hang on my chippy front door shutter.
