A Tool Box for My Potting Bench
My outdoor potting table was missing just one thing...
A place to keep my tools, seeds and gloves so they wouldn't get wet or rusty.
When I saw the awesome Garden Sign Crate Donna made at Funky Junk Interiors, it made me think that hanging a box on the wall was just what I needed.
I wanted to make something similar but more like a tool box... I still couldn't get the "hanging on the wall" part out of my head.
I had a cigar box that fit right where I want to hang it on the side of the shed.
I painted it inside and out with Fusion Mineral Paint because it will be the perfect paint for outdoor use.
There is something for everyone.... not only garden stencils, though these are awesome!
I added a brass knob to the front of the box to use as a handle.

When my tool crate was finished I hung it on the wall over my Outdoor Potting Bench.
The cigar box is now a little nook and my tools are high and dry and out of the weather.
