These cute little Mason jars were an easy project and make a great gift.

If you read my post about the Mini Pumpkin Potpourri Jars then you've already got the idea... these however, have the beautiful smell of lavender.

A couple of small Mason jars are just about all you need for this cute project.

I removed the metal covers and used the circle to cut out a piece of wire mesh for the top.

This mesh is a gutter cover that keeps the leaves from going into the roof gutters.

It can be found at the hardware store and is easy to cut with a pair of scissors.

I filled the jars with lavender buds that are easily available on Amazon (see below for affiliate link)

All that is left to do now is to replace the wire mesh and the original cover until it is ready to use.

When you want to use the sachet remove the metal top leaving just the wire mesh and let the beautiful scent fill the room.

I decorated the jars with galvanized charms just to add a little bling, .

These make great gifts or perfect little jars to drop into a drawer.
