Make a DIY Vintage Jar Holiday Hostess Gift
Who couldn't use a quick and easy DIY hostess gift
for the holidays?
After a weekend of an amazingly successful craft fair, I was ready to restock.
Not only do I have another craft fair coming up in a few weeks but my booth at Backstreet Antiques needed a Christmas refresh.
The lucky find of a whole bunch of vintage Atlas jars got me thinking...
Not only could I fill each of them with something useful for the holidays, I could also tie them with big, beautiful plaid ribbons and plaid is definitely trending this season.

My search for something fun to fit in the jar brought me to the craft store.
I began with crinkled strips of brown paper as a base then added pretty, glass ornaments to fill the jar.

Each jar is filled with coordinating ornaments and a big, beautiful bow.
Not only do the ornaments make a thoughtful hostess gift but the vintage jar can be used again after Christmas.
