Hanging out in the workshop and just creating from what I have at hand is one of my favorite things to do.
Putting together a little bit of this and a little bit of that sparks my creativity and usually results in something fun.
Today I'm starting with a pile of vintage bed springs in all different shapes and sizes.
On top of each spring, I made a nest.
I used raffia on a few...
I wrapped the
raffia around my hand a few times to form a nest then using a hot glue gun I attached it to the top of the bed spring.
On top of the raffia, I added a
pre-made neston one and the other some faux flower sprigs and colored Easter eggs.
On the top of another spring, I used a huge faux flower from my collections then added one of the
mini farmhouse wreaths I made a while back.
