How to Add Drawer Labels to Furniture
This new year I'm taking more time to do things for myself.
Sometimes I'm so busy doing things for my blog and projects for other people that I don't always finish what I started for myself.
For example I painted this gigantic 70's hutch and loved it so much when it was finished that I kept it.
The story of how I got this hutch is truly worth the click!
Problem was that I never added the labels for the drawers. I've had them for a very long time, they came from DLawless Hardware. They were inexpensive and even came with the screws! DLawless Hardware has all the cabinet and door hardware you will ever need for furniture renovation.
This project literally takes 15 minutes and I'm finally going to finish the project today.
Using a yard stick I found the center of the hutch drawers and lined up the handles so I had the exact center for each label.
Once I found the spot all I needed to do was to screw the labels in place.
Once they were all in place I added little white tags to each label. They don't say anything yet but that's next.
I love this hutch and the labels I finally added are perfect.
And if you're a vintage scale lover like I am then you might like the transformation of this one on the shelves!
I'm hoping to finish up more things for myself this year,
how about you? What are your plans for the New Year?
