How to Make a Rustic Flower Box

When you start to think of Spring you think of flowers.

So when I had this old wooden crate to decorate I wanted to give it a Springtime look.

I painted the box with Annie Sloan Chalk® Paint in Robin's Egg Blue then stenciled the word FLOWERS using a stencil from Vintage Sign Stencils.

I sealed the paint with Fusion Tough Coat. 


Bottles that were laying around from another project fit perfectly in the box. You could use bottles like these for this project.

I added burlap ribbon around the neck of each bottle and they were ready for flowers!

This is an easy makeover and now I'm ready for Spring!
