Window Flower Box Garden Planter
This project was one of those.
It began with an old chippy, broken window I found in my yard.
I cleaned it off, removed the chips, and then built a box around the window.
I used wood from a dresser I had to break apart to get it out of my basement.
I glued, nailed and clamped the box frame to the front of the window with a board in the back to finish off the box.
I still wasn't too sure where I was going with this project until I decided to paint the box and window. 🤔
I moved the window lock to the top center of the window to act as a hook in case I needed to hang something...
like a wreath maybe?
I mixed my own perfect garden purple by mixing a cobalt blue with bright red.
Now I know where I'm going with this project for sure!
I added a Welcome to my Garden stencil (affiliate link) to the front of the box.
This old window was quickly becoming the perfect window flower box!
All it needed now was flowers!
I added white geraniums because I love white flowers of all kinds.
I returned that old window to my yard with a whole new purpose and it looks so much better now!
