Embellished Vintage Silver Heart Ornaments
I ran quickly through our neighborhood church fair this weekend and came home with a treasure!
I found a box of 6 silver heart ornaments from Whitehurst Imports.
They were quite old, I could tell by the box and the tag that was still attached to each ornament. Each one has a little silver missing in one place or another. You just know they spent years in someone's attic.
I looked them up on Ebay and the same ornaments from this company in a different color were selling for $15 each!
I think they are beautiful!

I love the little Christmas tree shaped hook at the top of the heart.
I wanted to embellish these hearts a bit and give them as gifts this year.
I began by searching Pinterest for ideas and decided to print out the word believe in vinyl and attached it to the ornaments.
I pulled out my Cricut Joy machine and cut the word believe 6 times on red vinyl.
I attached the vinyl to the hearts and added a Christmas plaid bow to each ornament.
I wrapped each ornament in it's own little cello bag for gift giving.
Embellished ornaments like this would also sell well at craft fairs!
Boxes of vintage ornaments can easily be found at the thrift store or think about embellishing plain round ornaments from Michaels.

By the way... do you know it is incredibly hard to photograph these mirrored hearts without getting my phone or me in my pajamas in the reflection? 🤩
These vintage silver hearts were a great find
at the church fair this weekend and are finally getting a turn to spend Christmas out of the box!
