DIY Kitchen Cabinet Door Chalkboard Center
Repurposed kitchen cabinet door projects!
Day made!
A friend called me with a curb alert... well actually it was more like a store alert.
Some of the cabinets were wall displays with doors that opened.
For this project, I removed the door and drawer front from the frame. I'm only going to use the frame this time.
I glued and nailed the drawer front to the bottom of the frame.
Next, I cut a piece of pre-made chalkboard from the hardware store to fit the door space.
I glued and nailed the chalkboard onto the back of the larger space.
This cabinet is a beautiful natural wood color with a clear finish and I'm going to keep it and not paint this time.
Half of a wooden crate and a hook will be cleaned up and attached to the drawer front to hang keys and hold notes.
I am loving this already... and to think I still have about 99 more cabinet doors! Did I mention I also grabbed about 15 of these hardware displays with many, many, hardware samples of all kinds!
Friends and family, you may not see me for a while... I'll be in my workshop! The last thing I needed to do for this project was to hang 2 D rings on the back of the chalkboard for hanging.
Need I say to stay tuned for more
