Repurposed Cabinet Door Flower Box
A farmhouse styled flower box for Spring!
If you've been following along for a while you may remember the treasure of cabinet doors I found to repurpose and this project is another one of those fabulous free doors.
I began by attaching a wooden box that previously held flowers onto a cabinet door with glue and nails.
I painted the box with Raw Silk by Fusion Mineral Paint. It is my favorite white!
I sanded the edges with a sanding block to distress the cabinet door.
The box that held the flowers luckily also came with floral foam and a plastic box.
I covered the floral foam with a sheet of moss then added faux flowers and succulents to the moss.
The plastic dropped right back into the wooden box on the cabinet door.
The box could also be filled with pebbles and dirt for fresh flowers.
I added a cotton ribbon to the back of the cabinet for hanging.
I knew just where this farmhouse beauty was going!
It looks beautiful hanging against the brick at my front door.
This was a simple project that besides the $1.99 I spent on the thrift store flower box, was almost free!
