LOVE Sign for Valentine's Day
Today I'm creating another easy repurposed sign for Valentine's Day using old hardware and found objects.
I began with an old drawer front that I was lucky enough to get when a local store closed.
The random pieces of hardware I have now are great for so many junk creations.
I had a chalky oops paint that had a pink undertone and would be perfect for this neutral Valentine's Day sign.
I gave the drawer front a couple of coats of the oops paint then let the sign dry by a fan.
The fan certainly makes the drying time go faster!
I collected pieces of random things around my workshop including a vintage clothespin, old rusty hardware, a drawer pull, and a belt buckle.
I used E6000 glue to attach all the pieces then held them down with a weight to dry.
These mini glues are my favorite because they don't dry out and you can use the whole tube easier.
When the glue dried I attached 2 D ring picture hangers to the back so I could hang the sign.
It's another cute sign that took no time to make and was made with all repurposed parts.
I'm a big fan of neutral decor and this is a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day with neutral colors.
The drawer front is also thick enough to just sit on a surface like on this farmhouse sideboard I finished just recently.
