Vintage Cheese Grater Memo Board
I'm working on another vintage kitchen tool project today. I will be teaching a repurposing class at our local library and I'm preparing a few projects. This one began with a rusty old cheese slicer I was given by a local antique store owner.
This project was a cinch to make and didn't need any special tools. My friend Carlene at Organized Clutter made a similar project in the past so please stop by and take a look at her project.
Magnets made with vintage Scrabble tiles, Anagram tiles, a vintage ruler, and a domino stick to the old rusty cheese slicer. Please visit the bold links to see more projects made with these vintage items.
I tied on a ribbon made with a vintage cloth tape measuring tape and used a tiny clothespin in the slicer to hold photos.
At the bottom of the grater were 2 hooks where I attached a roll of paper for notes.
This rusty metal cheese slicer holds a ton of history and makes a beautiful small memo board for a farmhouse kitchen. You can see how I used the vintage strainers from the box to create bird nests for Spring.
I'm looking forward to repurposing the rest of the vintage items in this box and sharing them with our community.
If you missed the last vintage kitchen tool project I made from this treasure box, please visit the bold link.
