I recently bought a beautiful new comforter set that I absolutely love. The look of vintage dot chenille is gorgeous, cozy and in this color, neutral too! 

In case you blinked, it's March this week!  I dragged my Blade Runner saw out of the basement and onto the workbench for this fun project.  It's been years since I used it and now that I'm finished, I don't know why I waited so long!

I'm sharing another Dollar Tree project today. I don't know about you but staying home is hard! A trip to the Dollar Tree is a welcome distraction and filling my cart with projects to make at home is not only satisfying, it is inexpensive!

In an attempt to save money and to stay out of the stores, I sometimes recycle my projects. Yes, I said it. A project that didn't sell or I didn't love, or I am just tired of gets pulled apart, cut apart, and used again! 

It's almost time to start thinking about Spring and Easter and all the decorations that go with that. Today I'm stuffing carrots, not real carrots but the cutest little no-sew farmhouse styled carrots ever! 

How is it that it is already almost March?! Maybe because I retired from teaching last summer, or because of the circumstances in our world right now,  but I've never had a year go faster.  So seeing that it's time to change out my holiday decor, I'll start with a beaded garland. 

Here's an easy heart project you can make in no time with things you may already have at home!  Hearts are a decoration that you can leave up all year long! ❤️

This project was just fun!  I saw a similar wreath at Hobby Lobby and while it probably cost me more to make it than to buy it with a coupon, I love a good challenge.

I'm working with rub on stencils today and it couldn't be easier to get a graphic look on a painted surface!Did you ever paint something and save it for later to finish? Well that's what happened here. 

This is my very favorite kind of project! The one that uses something vintage you turn into something fabulous! 

Do you use artificial flowers in your home decorating? I do all the time. I use them in vases and baskets all over my home and they look so real!  I even ask for artificial flowers for Valentine's Day! 

Today I'm dragging out the jig saw.  I honestly haven't used it in a long time but a new friend uses it all the time for her amazing projects so I'm dragging it out of the corner!

What is there to do when you've been hit with two feet of snow and house bound for the third day in a row? Not only are we all house-bound on a regular basis but now in our neck of the woods, we can barely get out the door! 

I love the dollar store! Not for junky things but for the great things that can easily be turned into something fabulous!

Lately I've been doing a lot of creating with painting techniques. I love recycling glass jars into something unique. Today I'm turning a glass jar from the kitchen into a beautiful cement vase.
