Dollar Store Farmhouse Truck Makeover
My most recent trip to Dollar Tree was really just for ribbon but when I saw this wooden truck I grabbed it and ran!
Recently I made over a Valentine's Day sign with a truck but this one was so much easier to makeover!
I began here by staining the truck with a dark stain cloth, these are easy to use and work great.
When the stain dried I painted the truck white.
You can paint it in your favorite color, teal would be pretty too!
Anyway, I painted the tires black, the hubcaps grey and I left the wooden fence on the back of the truck stained.
All the edges were sanded with a fine grit sandpaper for a distressed look when the paint dried.
I added a hand written sign using a Sharpie marker, this set comes with 3 sizes.
You could also use a stencil, transfer, or leave it with no writing at all.
A final step is a spray of clear satin sealer for protection.
The truck is cute enough with nothing!
I added a stacked bow using different lengths and widths of ribbon.

This $1 find used the tiniest amount of paint, stain and ribbon to transform it into this cute truck to hang as it is or on a boxwood wreath.
