Beaded Wreath Hanger
Here is one of the easiest projects you'll see in a long time! This Dollar Tree sign was easily transformed into the perfect hanger for wreaths all year long and only took a coat of paint!
I never would have picked up this sign at the dollar store if it wasn't for the fun shape of it.
I knew it could be transformed into something with farmhouse style, but how?
All it really took was a quick sanding with an electric sander...
and then a coat of paint.
I used the color River Rock by A Frayed Knot.
Nicole makes her own chalky paint and I'm loving it.
Today I painted this dollar store sign and it only took one coat.
When the paint was dry I added a beaded hanger.
The beads came from Amazon and you can buy a big bag of them for much less then anywhere else.
I cut the string that came on the sign, added the beads then re-attached the string with hot glue on the back.
I added a stick on hook from the Dollar Tree to the center of the sign so I could hang a small wreath.
A clear hook may have been a better idea but you really can't see the white hook.
I hung a spring wreath...
How cute is that?!
It seems I've been looking for a way to hang wreaths forever!
In this post I made a repurposed wreath hanger and for the summer I was thrilled to realize I could hang wreaths and decor from my vinyl fence.
It is the perfect place to hang a DIY rag wreath...

or a small boxwood wreath...
or even a fun felted wreath.
Each one looked better than the one before.

This is the perfect little place to hang a wreath and give it a little style.
The whole project took me about 15 minutes to make and I think it's a great place to hang a wreath!
