I am revisiting this project that I made back in 2012 because it is timeless and while it's been repainted several times since... it is a fun summer project and looks great outside the house! 

I just hate to throw anything away, especially if I like it. Beautiful fabric is really hard to get rid of because there are so many things you can do with it. Recently I had to repurpose a stained table runner my daughter gave me so I turned it into something both stylish and useful. 

I returned from a great week on vacation and brought back a bunch of pretty shells. As you all probably guessed, I just couldn't leave them alone. As pretty as they were, I needed to give them a little pizazz! 

Do you collect anything?  I have several collections, some are vintage, some are nostalgic, and some things I collect are just plain practical.  Bottles... I collect bottles and jars. I've got shelves in my basement filled with jars and bottles and every once in a while I come up with an idea to do something with them. 

This project was one of those DIY projects that I use all the time! I originally made this organizer with recycled cans and a piece of antique barrel wood. 

You've probably seen these awesome flags around the internet and like me, knew it would be so easy to make using things I already had around the house! Today I'm giving it a try and I'm thrilled with the results!

I am a beach lover! I live near the beach, I kayak at the beach, and I create art at the beach.  Today I'm using what I found at the beach to create a simple hanging fish using shells.  This is a great project for your next vacation! 

I've been on an organizing frenzy in my office lately and while ready to purge anything I didn't need anymore, I ended up using a few of the pieces to create a great organizer!

I found these great stars at the Dollar Tree recently and was saving them for just the right inspiration. My last trip to Marshalls gave me the inspiration I needed for this easy Fourth of July craft! 

Today I'm sharing some summer inspiration and an easy way to make sailboats for a costal mantel. 
All you need is white fabric and some driftwood or even sticks from the yard would work!
