Easy Recycled Bottle Vase
Do you collect anything? I have several collections, some are vintage, some are nostalgic, and some things I collect are just plain practical. Bottles... I collect bottles and jars. I've got shelves in my basement filled with jars and bottles and every once in a while I come up with an idea to do something with them.
Today I'm repurposing a large amber iced coffee bottle.
It was just too nice to throw away!

I have all kinds of lace and bling that I could use to decorate the bottle and give the it a new life.
After I removed the iced coffee label from the bottle, I wrapped the bottle with this gorgeous wide cotton lace I found at Michaels.
There is a lot of lace in this package!
I used hot glue to attach the lace to the bottle.
Next, I wrapped the center of the lace with a burlap looking wide ribbon with lace.
After that I added a small cotton doily to the center and in the center of that I attached a little bling to the center.
The rhinestones came from the bead department at Michaels.
Everything was attached using hot glue.
It took minutes to decorate this recycled coffee jar and turn it into a quick and easy vase for flowers.
