These beauties on my mantel started out life as bright orange Dollar Tree pumpkins! You can't even believe the difference! When I received a box of textured paints from DecoArt #ad I knew they would make those inexpensive pumpkins look amazing!

Today I'm repurposing an old project that was no longer serving our needs. I was looking around for a large basket to create a laundry bin for our basement laundry makeover and I came across a wire basket I had used for another DIY project.

I love the look of a craftsman front door with a dentil shelf! You can find them all over Pinterest and all the new farmhouse styled houses have them. I am lucky enough to have a beautiful new craftsman style front door on my house but I never thought about the shelf. Until now!

When you're on a beach vacation and you can't sit still a great thing to do is to search the beach for treasures.  I found beautiful driftwood slats that were leftover from a dune fence and brought them home to create!

Aren't these recycled denim pumpkins adorable?! And they are not hard to make! No sewing involved which is the best part! I took a little bit of several different stuffed pumpkin ideas and made these my own. The best part is that these recycled denim pumpkins were almost FREE!

This piece was a garage sale find. I knew I would do something with it, I just wasn't sure what.  A little thought and a can of orange spray paint and the wheels were set in motion! 

Here is a flashback to the paint colors we used to transform our dark home a few years ago. We transformed it using a beautiful neutral color and it looks light, bright, and amazing.  The fall colors on the mantel enhance the beautiful neutrals and the decorations for any season will pop! 

Next up on my list of home improvements is the garage. Have you ever wished you could click your fingers and have your messy garage instantly made over? It wasn't instant but 3 days later our garage looks organized, clean, and amazing!

Recycling and using what I have is my favorite thing to do and fall pumpkins are another! Today I'm going to combine those loves and show you my fall mantel along with how I recycled a ribbon spool and created a cute pumpkin!
