Easy Christmas Garland
Here is a quick and easy, last minute garland you can make for a little more than $2 from the Dollar Tree. I was there today looking for some last minute stocking stuffers and I ran across a package of small silver ornaments...
The ornament pack had about 15 little plastic silver ornaments for $1.25, yep, the new price at Dollar Tree!

I bought a roll of white sparkly ribbon and the package of ornaments because I had a great last minute craft idea.
I pulled out all the ribbon on the roll and found the center.
Next, I tied on one of the ornaments in the center.
The ornaments in the above link are the same ones from Amazon.
I went down both sides of the ribbon adding ornaments about every 4".
I grabbed a roll of jute twine I already had and measured out a length as long as my ribbon.
I tied the jute to the ribbon using small pieces of jute.
Next, I added bells.
I used small pieces of cotton twine to tie the bells to every other ornament.
I stopped there but you could certainly add more ribbon and more string to make the garland even thicker.
I tried the ribbon on the staircase.
By the way I recently painted the railing with Fusion Mineral Paint.
I also hung up the garland on the board and batten wall I made in my living room.
I think I like it hanging on these hooks the best!
I love the look of this easy to make garland that looks great anywhere you hang it.
The wooden stocking is one I cut out of an old board.
I added a small wreath I made with wire and a thick jute hanger.
I just may keep it out all winter too!
