Easy Snowflake Garland
Once you decide you're taking down the Christmas decorations you're left with nothing... or are you? Here is a quick and easy dollar store project you can do in no time and leave up all winter! ...
I began with a few cards of snowflake ornaments from the Dollar Tree.
I will link to similar products on Amazon if you don't have a Dollar Tree near you. As you scroll through this post please pay attention to the bold blue links for more Homeroad information and the products I used for this project.
I bought about 4-5 cards of ornaments to make a garland.
I tied the snowflakes onto white cotton twine.
I tied some close to the string and hung some down lower.
When I got all the snowflakes tied to the twine I grabbed some baker's twine.
I ran a length of baker's twine down the length of my garland.
I began tying the baker's twine using little lengths of the twine.
Next, I grabbed a roll of lace ribbon.
I also did the same with a long length of white glitter ribbon from Dollar Tree.
I ran the lace ribbon and the white ribbon down the length of the snowflake garland as well, tying them on using the small pieces of baker's twine.
Before I knew it I had a gorgeous winter ribbon to hang on my DIY hook rack.
This was done similar to the Christmas Dollar Tree Garland I made recently.
The "Get Cozy" sign and the wooden snowflake I added to the hooks came from the Dollar Spot at Target.
This can be kept up all winter to decorate baskets, wreaths, or even DIY board and batten hooks.
I have a few more DIY winter projects you may love including a front door winter basket that is my favorite!
