Easy Carrot Picks for Flowers
Here is a quick project that is easy to do with minimal cost to add to your Easter plants and flowers!
This project begins with cardboard and a cute napkin I found last year at Marshalls.
Don't worry, you don't need a fancy carrot napkin, you can use a plain orange napkin and add the stripes with a permanent marker.
See the suggestions at the bottom of this post.

First I cut a simple carrot shape from cardboard.
I coated the cardboard carrot with Mod Podge.
I smoothed out the napkin on top of the Mod Podge.
When the Mod Podge dried I used a sanding block to sand off the excess napkin and smooth the edges.
Next, I Mod Podged over the top of the napkin to seal the carrot.
When the sealer dried, I added raffia carrot tops and an orange gingham ribbon to the top of the carrots with hot glue.
Lastly, I stuck a bamboo skewer into the bottom of the carrot between the cardboard layers.
These cute carrots are perfect to add to a bouquet of flowers this Easter.
They can also be added to plants, baskets, jars, or wherever you want to add a little Easter fun.
A few years ago I did a post about these beautiful faux tulips... they look so real!
