I just love the look of vintage bells hanging on a wreath at Christmas time. 
I've attempted several times to make some that look half way realistic myself but failed. 
I think today I've finally perfected the art of making vintage bells and I'm using soda cans!

I found the cutest metal basket set at the thrift store recently, they were rose gold looking baskets I thought were beautiful! 
Problem was that I used the basket to pick tomatoes from my garden this summer and the acid from the tomatoes ruined the basket. 
It ended up with spots where the acid removed the color. 
The only thing left to do with this pretty basket now was to repurpose it... 

I'm officially naming myself the self proclaimed Queen of DIY garland. 
No, seriously, I love making garlands and especially Christmas garlands of all kinds. At the end of this post you can find a link to many of my DIY garlands. 
They are probably the easiest projects to make with the biggest bang!  Hang them on hooks, racks, trees... anywhere.

They are the cutest little primitive rustic Christmas village. 
The minute I opened the email and saw them I knew I could make a dupe myself with reclaimed wood and save the $49.00 each!
If you have a saw, and a 2x4" piece of wood you can create these adorable houses in no time. 

When I find an easy thrift store makeover I'm on it! 
I'm usually not in the door for long before I've got the project started.
Especially when it's an adorable little Fall project that can be done in no time while watching TV. 
Today I found just that easy project that took no time to finish and right away I put it to good use!

It's the easiest project with great looking results and you probably have all the ingredients you need at home right now.
