Ok, lets talk about taking down Christmas now... How long do you keep it up?
I like to make a gentle transition into winter in my house. 
I keep up many of the pine trees and dark green accents while adding a little snowflake action wherever I can.

I'm kinda loving making Christmas signs this year. 
When I saw this gorgeous sign on Antique Farmhouse and then again in a few other places, I knew it was a sign I need to make! 
I used a vinyl cutter but if you don't have one, stencils are available that give the same look. 
There is also the "transfer" method that has always worked well for me.

If you've been following along this Christmas season you've seen that I had a whole bunch of wooden ornaments that were made by a special family member. 
I literally had about 30 of them and wanted to find a way to celebrate these ornaments and give them new life. 
I made a very cute hanging decoration but I only used 5 of the ornaments.

Today I'm creating a rustic wall vase made from a repurposed vintage metal cheese grater.

Today's wall vase will hold Christmas greens and berries or drop in a plastic cup of water for fresh flowers! 
It was so easy! ...

Right about now you are all probably decorated for Christmas already but if you're like me, you're adding little touches every day! 
Until it is time to take it down right after Christmas that is. 😂

I saw the cutest cardboard stars made by Living Inspiration on Instagram and I knew I had to give them a try! With a small twist of course!  
Everyone has cardboard tubes, toilet paper tubes, paper towel tubes, even gift wrap tubes. Today I'm giving a couple of those a try and creating a beautiful garland and ornaments with them.

Today I'm doing a project that uses all the clothespins you've been hanging onto. Today I'm creating wooden clothespin snowflakes and stars with a junky twist! 

In case you happen to be low on clothespins, the dollar store has a package for a dollar that will work perfectly.

I'm at it again with the stenciling today and I'm here to tell you that not too many people do it perfectly. 
I am one of those imperfectly perfect stencilers but I know how to embellish and to make it look better than perfect. 
Today I'm stenciling Christmas trees on rough hewn wood and that is not easy!

I'm at it again, making another Christmas sign. I'm pretty sure there is no wall space left in my house. 
Today I'm creating a two sided sign... saving on wood and storage space! I can use one side for a while and flip it around, great for those who can't decide!

Ah, Christmas church fairs, you've gotta love them! 
We have a church fair around here every Christmas and they have the BEST white elephant sale. 
Every year I find something I just love and this year I got lucky again. 
This time it took almost no time to turn this treasure into an easy to create Christmas sign with bells.

Here I go again making something that is completely difficult to photograph for a post! 
I was inspired by a trip to Target to create something cute that rings in the season every time you open the door. There is nothing like the sound of jingle bells 💗
