Recently I saw a wire basket that held garlic in an online store. 
I thought it was adorable and very do-able too! 
I wanted to make something similar to hold a small terra cotta pot so I grabbed my supplies and got to work.

I've always wanted a fountain on my deck but frankly they are pretty expensive and usually you need a readily available power source.

I couldn't help myself. When I saw this not so pretty Christmas birdhouse in the thrift store for $1.00 I had to take it home and give it a makeover. 
I don't usually do makeovers just for the heck of it but this one was different. 
I knew the snow on that Christmas birdhouse was perfect for a Spring makeover.

Score! Driving down the road this morning and I saw out of the corner of my eye, a large cement thing. 
I turned the car around for a closer look and sure enough it was cement. 
A cement fountain that must have broken over the winter because all that was at the curb was the top.
