Recently I had the opportunity to grab a bunch of vintage items from a store that was changing it's look. 
I grabbed old tools and wooden boxes, along with vintage metal cans and a few things I wasn't even sure what they were. 
Today I'm repurposing the very large pulley that was in the haul.

I'm repurposing one of the tiered shelves from the Target dollar spot. I think we all have one or at least I see a ton of them in the thrift stores.

Garlands and banners are so much fun to make and really very easy too. 
Today I'm creating a tiny pennant banner to decorate a tiered tray or peg shelf for the Fourth of July.
I used scraps of fabric and a piece of string... that's it!

My advice for today is to never throw out an old wooden roller shade, especially the ones with the larger slats. 
I have made a ton of projects using just one broken wooden roller shade including the fun patriotic one today!

That is what's happening here today. I saw this beautiful vintage green chippy crate with a handle in the center. It was just a photo with no markings of where it came from. 
I knew now my mission was to make one of these beautiful crates and use it for flowers in the garden.
