These dryer balls are just so versatile! Besides helping to dry clothes, these whited felt balls have become pumpkins, snowballs, and even a cute pin cushion on Homeroad!
Today, they are going to be ghosts. I'm going to fill a wooden bowl with ghost dryer balls and embellish it with skeletons!
This was an easy one, all I had to do was to gather my collection of old buttons.
I am using several different size buttons on a couple of different size white dryer balls. This is one of the packages of dryer balls I used.
At first I started sewing the buttons onto the balls. It was a good idea but they actually weren't flush enough with the balls.
I decided to switch to hot glue. Good old hot glue works for everything!
I glued eyes and a mouth on each dryer ball. Sam wanted that ball in the worst way!
I even used a small grommet and a small washer for the mouth on some.
A simple project with a big presence.
Fill the bowl with ghosts and add a skeleton friend to decorate the bowl.
