Have you seen the large "brass" bells in the Target Dollar Spot? They were  $5 and had a great large jute hanger!
Problem was... the color was all wrong! The "brass" wasn't even a good gold color. 
But I bought the bell and brought it home and fixed the color.

I began with recycled fabric from my workshop and a gingerbread man shape. 
I experimented with an iron-on fusing to create a thicker fabric for the gingerbread men that worked great! Use them as ornaments, gift tags, or place cards for the holidays.

This year I need to figure out a new idea for Christmas. 
As you may or may not know, we have a puppy. Well he just turned one but is still very much a puppy! I can not even imagine our usual 6' tree with ornaments anywhere near Sam. 
I'm thinking of getting a 3' tree and putting it on a table but what about all my special ornaments? 
When I saw a gorgeous oak wall rack for ornaments on Antique Farmhouse I knew I had to make one of my own for all of our special ornaments.  Needless to say the cost of this beautiful oak ornament rack was out of my budget.

Good Morning Friends! Let me just start out by letting you know that I've done this project before... ten years ago!  
I made recycled boiled wool Christmas trees and sold a ton of them at the local craft fairs.  
Those green wool trees with their clothespin trunks were very popular! 
This year I inherited new recycled wool fabric and I'm making more stuffed Christmas trees this with a little twist!

Today I'm creating the cutest large pallet wood Christmas tree for you! 
Well actually not pallet wood, it was leftover wood that secured a large box for furniture, I guess you could call it pallet wood. Wood from an actual pallet will do the same. 
Anyway, I created as I went with not much of a plan here and was pleasantly surprised in the end when I had a large sturdy, rustic wooden Christmas tree that I loved!

We had a Christmas tree dilemma this year... our puppy! 
As some of you know we adopted Sam last January but what you might not know is that Sam is a terror! 
If something falls on the floor for even a minute he has it and has chewed it to bits! 
Needless to say I was very concerned about our Christmas tree this year but I came up with a solution!

Today's project was a bit of an experiment for me. 
I had some drop cloth scraps and I wanted to see how well the thick drop cloth would stiffen. 
I'm not using any special supplies, the whole project really cost me nothing. 
I stenciled a pumpkin on the bucket but certainly this would be great for any season!

The chunkiness, the color, and the embellishments! My favorite was the mushroom but today I made the candy cane embellishment because it was easier!

Today's project is a fun one! I grabbed a bunch of old tools and reclaimed pieces of wood to create a Santa and Tree. 
I didn't let the fact that I am completely out of wood stop me from making this project. 
I used what I had and these rustic decorations couldn't be cuter! 
Sometimes you just have to think out of the "box".

Happy November! Here's a super easy one for Thanksgiving! 
I found the cutest turkey placemat at the thrift store and the minute I saw it I just knew it was going to make an adorable Turkey pillow for Thanksgiving.
