Printable Winter Banner
Today I'm making an easy banner you can hang up all winter or just when you are expecting snow like we are this weekend!
This is an easy project and I'm including the printables I created for this project.
Not a snow lover? This project can be customized to say anything you want it to and the vintage look is perfect if you're a fan of old and distressed.
Take a look...
I started out on PicMonkey, my photo editing website. I do all my photo editing and printables on PicMonkey for a small yearly fee.
As you're reading through this post please pay attention to the bold blue links that will take you to more information and the products I used for this project. Also the READ MORE sections will take you to related Homeroad projects.
I designed rectangles with letters using black and brown.
I've attached these designs here so you can print them for yourself.
I printed out the images at 17% on brown paper bag colored card stock. You could also cut a paper bag to the size of printer paper and use that. They can be printed smaller or larger, it is up to you.
Once the lettering was printed I cut out the card stock letters and punched holes in the top of each card for hanging. You can also add small grommets to the holes which I've done on other projects.
Using a black stamp pad and a soft brush, I distressed the edges of each card to give it an aged look.
The last step is to hang the cards on jute.
I was sure to tie a knot between each letter so they would stay in place.
That's it!

That's all you need to make a SNOW banner for the winter. Again, it can be made to say whatever you want it to for any occasion.
