Fuzzy Ghost Pillow Cover
Today I'm making one of the easiest Halloween pillows ever!
I had an old fleece blanket I cut up a while back for a project and trust me I'll be using the rest of the scraps again real soon!
Grab a fall colored pillow cover and either fleece or felt and follow along! There is no sewing involved and it couldn't be easier!
Take a look...
I had a very pretty rust colored pillow cover I had bought a few years ago. I buy several to have on hand because I love changing out my pillows with the seasons.

The old blanket I had was an off white fleece color. If you don't have a blanket you can use felt, or sweater fabric, sherpa, fur, anything with some kind of texture.
I found a ghost image on google and made myself a paper stencil.
I pinned the stencil to the fabric and cut out my ghost. I was lucky with this fleece, there wasn't much shedding at all.
Next, using fabric hot glue, I went around the ghost, close to the edge and glued it down to the center of the pillow cover.
It looks cute already!
Now it was time for the face! I am using vintage buttons for the eyes. You can use larger buttons and even a larger button for a mouth.
I used hot glue to again glue the buttons to the ghost.
Now it was time for a little BOO label. I have these great 1" letter stampers that I use all the time with my preschoolers.
I stamped out the word BOO on the pillow cover using a Stayz-on ink pad.
That's it!
All you have to do now is to stuff the pillow with a pillow insert!
Please pin for later --->>
My pillow was 18" x 18" but you could make a few smaller ones instead! Maybe even a black fuzzy bat pillow! Hmmm... maybe my next project!
This was an easy project and it was done in no time!
