I've been MIA for a while because I've been busy moving two of my daughters into new apartments.

Did you ever pull something out of the trash on your own street? Embarrassing! 
I drove by a large oval folding tray table in my neighbors trash that would be perfect for this project. 
I told myself that if it was still there when I returned, it was meant to be and I'd grab it. 
Yep, it was there when I returned so I tossed it in my trunk and took off before my neighbor could see me!

Have you seen the cute cement beads from Pottery Barn? 
With all the wooden beaded garland in the decor aisles it's nice to find something a little different.

Now that I've lived through it, I'm going to show you our new kitchen.  After living in our house for 27 years this amazing update was much needed...

I love the look of a craftsman front door with a dentil shelf! You can find them all over Pinterest and all the new farmhouse styled houses have them. I am lucky enough to have a beautiful new craftsman style front door on my house but I never thought about the shelf. Until now! 

Here is a flashback to the paint colors we used to transform our dark home a few years ago. We transformed it using a beautiful neutral color and it looks light, bright, and amazing.  The fall colors on the mantel enhance the beautiful neutrals and the decorations for any season will pop!
